Afro
Dog · Terrier Mix · Male · 8 +/- Years
This cute guy is a goofy, silly boy that has lived outdoors his entire life. Angels to the Animals has been helping to care for him over the past 6-7 years, and we estimate his age to be around 8 years old. He is a big boy, weighing around 90 lbs. and is pure love. Afro just wants to be a lap dog! He loves to chase a ball, but isn't so good about bringing it back, but will roll over on it. His owner allowed one of our volunteers to bring him home a couple of nights when we had some pretty severe weather, and he never had an accident in the house. When we have taken him out, he pretty much ignores other dogs, so we can't say for sure how he would do with another one, but would suggest perhaps a low key female as a companion. He does chase cats, so he shouldn't be around them. Due to his size, we suggest no children under teen years. Afro's family is moving to an apartment and having medical issues, so this guy need a home immediately. Aftro is already neutered, and up to date on all vaccines and monthly preventatives. We plan to have him bathed and cleaned up before he goes to his new home so he is sparkling and shiny! We would already consider a foster or foster to adopt for him.

Batman was rescued from a life on a chain but still lives outdoors. He's a goofy, older guy with lots of love and life left and is good with other dogs and children. Fully house-trained, he’s looking for an indoor foster or an adopter who doesn't have the feline kind. He'll make you giggle with his wiggles.

Grace is crate trained, but does love sleeping in the bed with you. She recently had a litter of 4 puppies who will be ready to leave in about two weeks. Grace is also a quick learner and aims to please, making her a wonderful companion for anyone seeking a loyal and devoted friend. She especially loves to roll over for belly rubs. She's been working on her leash skills, but will need a fenced yard as she likes to chase birds, squirrels and bunnies. With her gentle soul and affectionate nature, Grace will be a delightful addition to a loving family.

He's 100% crate-trained, knows the sit command, and is workin' on other commands like lay down and stay put. Garth gets along with large dogs and children too. He's still a puppy, so he's pretty flexible, and is just happy to be able play, eat supper and treats, and have safe and cozy place to lay his precious little head when the day is done.
