With an annual birth rate of animals that outstrips the availability of homes, the cycle of pet overpopulation continues.
Each year, tragically, 8-12 million dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens have to be euthanized for lack of adoptive families.
Adopting is one of the most powerful ways to address this issue.
At Angels to the Animals, our mission is to provide shelter and support to homeless dogs and cats in our community. We believe that everyone deserves a safe and comfortable place to call home, and we work tirelessly to make that a reality. Thank you for giving of your heart and home!

She recently completed a 3-week in house board & train program graduating with flying colors! They are still boarding her for us until a foster or a forever home comes along which we hope is soon. While Bailey is not aggressive, she is a more dominant dog so we think she would do best as the only pet (no cats please), but perhaps a similar size submissive male might work
if properly introduced.
Getting a rescue pup already trained is pretty awesome. Not only that but you get several 1-on-1 and group sessions with the trainer. This girl has been waiting so long for a home! Please reach out for a meet and greet. You'll fall in love, we promise.
FOSTERING BAILEY IS AN OPTION AS WELL!!
Christine is a BEAUTIFUL 1 yr old girl who is DEAF. Please do NOT let that frighten you as she can do what any other dog can do, you just need to communicate with her differently. She has been in training for 6 weeks now and has done beautifully! She is staying at the training facility and they all adore her there! She is a good dog

She has been in training for 6 weeks now and has done beautifully! She is staying at the training facility and they all adore her there! She is a good dog and funny and sweet and just needs someone to love her. She is crate trained, house trained. LOVES all humans and kids (over 8 years due to size & strength). We feel she might do best as an only dog (and no cats please) because she is more dominant. She is not aggressive at all. Perhaps a submissive same size dog might work with proper introduction. Christine loves toys, chew bones and to lie on your lap and be pet. We would like to see her go to a home with a fenced yard. This girl will make an awesome family pet for years to come. Thank you for considering this
special girl!

They were in a shelter from 11/2 - 12/11 while cruelty charges were placed and being investigated. Even after what these dogs went through they are some of the sweetest dogs we’ve ever had in our rescue. Donner is currently with a foster family who says this about this sweet,
sweet boy:
I cannot say enough good things about Donner (aka Flash as my 4 year old calls him). He is a gentle giant. He loves people and follows me around most of the day. He also loves playing with my other dog, a 20 lb Chihuahua mix and a new puppy that entered our household at Christmas. He is great with kids, walks well on a leash and is an overall easy going, lower energy dog. He is obsessed with food, which considering his background makes sense. He so desperately wants someone to just love him and let him lay in their lap. Every time I sit down, he puts his head in my lap and looks at me with those sad eyes. He is such a sweetheart. I know he will make someone or a family very happy.

Blitzen is a super sweet cuddle bug. He doesn’t know his own size and loves to get right on your lap for some love. He does well in the crate and will go in when you guide him especially if you entice him with a treat. He is highly motivated by food and has learned the sit command. He has shown some food aggression with one of my dogs (understandably) so if you have another dog, it needs to be taken into consideration. He has been using the doggie door to go outside and go potty but he also goes near the back door if he needs to go. He does like to chew on things so I have been giving him chew bones to help. He rides in the car well and loves looking out the window. We have been working on walking on a leash ( he is a puller) but with my time and routine walks I believe he will walk gently on a leash. He plays well with dogs his size and my little ones are comfortable in the house with him around. He is learning boundaries with them and has been taking social cues well. We are working on him jumping up on people. Overall he is a very excited dog and happy to just be around people and pups. He loves to cuddle next to you and get affection. Loves belly rubs and head scratches. He is very affectionate and wants love and to belong. He definitely is learning the ways of the house through the other dogs and will adapt well in other homes with pups. I think he will be a loyal companion to someone. With him being so motivated by food he can be trained to do almost anything.
A slow feeder may be a good investment for his future owner. He loves kong toys and bounces them around the house in
his "zoomie" mode.
G-dog is in a foster home with a family that has 2 teenage boys and another dominant and playful dog. G loves toys and can be somewhat possessive of them with other dogs so this needs to be watched. He plays well with the fosters dog and prior to that played well with a small chihuahua. Prior to this he lived outdoors and was pretty neglected but despite that, he is a happy-go-lucky pup, adapts to any situation and his entire back end wiggles when he is happy! Which is pretty much all the time!

I am a beautiful silver gray kitty girl. She is very sweet and a little shy. Spicy was trapped with her mom and brothers in a neighborhood where they were left to fend for themselves. A good Samaritan trapped them all. Now they are learning humans are full of love and they have grown to trust us.
Spicy will let you hold her and will snuggle on the couch with you after she accepts you as her human buddy! She will chase laser lights and "things" all day. Spicy would thrive in an all adult or work from home single professionals house and would be an excellent companion to your current lonely kitty. We feel she would adjust to a sweet puppy dog too. She is available with her twin brother Gram and there is a very reduced adoption fee so you can have twice the joy and love in your home!

We were scared at first but we have come a long way since then. We're a little shy at first but once we get to know you, we are great. We like it when our foster mom wraps us in a blanket and holds us.
Our adoption fee includes the spay when we are old enough, a rabies vaccine and sets of distemper shots. Rehoming fee is $125 and we offer deep discounts for adopting 2 together so you can have twice the love of these sweet babies.-

He contacted Angels to the Animals when he noticed she had a tail injury. When Angel went in for her spay surgery, it was discovered that she had a perforated bladder. We were told that she most likely had been hit by a car. This poor girl!
Angel has come so far and has healed from her surgery. Her tail has healed as well. We are not sure how she is with other cats, but was exposed to them when she was living outside. Angel is loving her life indoors and is looking for a furever , inside only home!
Angel is truly a survivor and one of the sweetest girls you will ever meet! Do you have a place in your heart and home for this adorable girl? She certainly deserves a loving family.
If you are interested in meeting Angel, please email to info@angelstotheanimals.org

Meet Ivy and Bloom, the luckiest kitties ever!! These precious babies were saved when a good Samaritan who heard them meowing in a street curb storm water drain. A rescue effort into the drain was successful and these kitties are happy, healthy, fully vetted and looking for their forever home! We estimate them to be 18 months now. And they are beautiful tabby's with the most gorgeous patterns in their fur.
Ivy(girl) and Bloom (boy aka Buddy) are sweet, playful and just plain adorable. Their ideal home would be an all adult home. They would be perfect for retirees or the work from home professional who wants company who are calm enough not to photobomb any Zoom meetings. They are used to being together so need to be adopted together or have another fur baby buddy at home. We give a steep discount for adopting them together so you will have double the joy for many years to come.
An approved adoption application
A Veterinarian reference
Personal references
A home check.
Angels to the Animals charges an adoption fee to assist with all age-appropriate shots, deworming, rabies vaccine, heartworm test and spay/neuter costs, we also would welcome any size donation.
Like any human, no animal is perfect and every animal has different needs. Adoption is a long-term commitment to the pet. It includes but is not limited to any current or future behavioral and medical issues, as well as a time and financial commitment.
If you choose to adopt, Angels to the Animals wants only good things for both the human and the newest member of its family.
